The history of the Rugby Cement Company is currently being researched by John Frearson ahead of a publication of a History of the Company.

The majority of the company archives have been "rescued" and are being catalogued, and the information about the Company abstracted prior to being passed to the Warwickshire County Record Office for secure storage.

To date, two large consignments of records have been transferred for safe keeping.

Where possible, all names and details are being abstracted so as to be available for search by Family Historians and other researchers.  Five separate data bases of names are now available - and they are being added to as records are processed.
